Personal data we collect

• Enquiry data: your name, email address, mobile number, the property postcode, property type, number of bedrooms, condition, expected rent, availability, any comments you provide, and the service you are interested in (Full Management or Guaranteed Rent).
• Consent record: the fact that you ticked the privacy-policy consent box, the version of this policy at the time, and a timestamp.
• Technical data: IP address, browser/device information, and referring page, collected for security, abuse prevention and — with your consent — analytics.
• Marketing metadata: if you arrived via a tracked link, basic campaign parameters (UTM source, medium, campaign) associated with your enquiry.

How we use your data

• To review your property enquiry and reply to you personally.
• To carry out and manage any management services we agree to provide.
• To keep records required for accounting, tax and regulatory purposes.
• To detect and prevent fraud, spam and abuse of our forms.
• Where you consent, to measure how the site is used so we can improve it.

Who we share your data with

We use the following categories of trusted service providers:

• Hosting and backend infrastructure: Lovable Cloud (powered by Supabase) provides the database, secure API endpoints and hosting for this website.
• Email delivery: Google Workspace (Gmail API) sends our lead-notification emails to hello@marklewisproperty.com. A branded transactional-email fallback via Lovable Emails may be used if the primary path is unavailable.
• Analytics (with consent only): Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited), with IP anonymisation and Google Signals disabled.
• Professional advisers: our accountants and, where necessary, legal advisers, under duties of confidentiality.

We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, transfers are protected by UK/EU-approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep your data

• Enquiries that do not lead to engagement: up to 24 months.
• Client records where we manage a property: for the duration of the agreement and for 6 years after it ends, in line with accounting and tax requirements.
• Server access and abuse-prevention logs: up to 90 days.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase or restrict the use of your personal data, to data portability, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on it.
